Desalination

In our last blog, we talked a little about desalination, which is the process of removing salt from seawater. Today, we want to highlight two companies who are making a huge impact in this space.

Xylem is a leading global water technology provider, “enabling customers to transport, treat, test and efficiently use water in public utility, residential and commercial building services, industrial and agricultural settings.” They are constantly working to provide innovative solutions and products in the world of water quality and flow monitoring instruments.

Suez supplies clean drinking water to “92 million people across 70 countries and 5 continents.” They recover 60,000 tons of hazardous waste from the Shanghai Chemical Industry annually. Suez conserves billions of gallons of water yearly, using management systems that optimizes water use.

Tomorrow, tune into our blog where we will highlight a company leading the way in drip irrigation.
