Discovered Markets is a growing mission-driven startup that helps organizations influence, monitor, and invest in systems change. The majority of our clients work in emerging markets to make business more inclusive and solve long-standing inequities in economic growth. To help these clients, we've developed tools to amplify their ability to influence other stakeholders, monitor behavior change, and highlight key potential partners in markets that have existing connections. Some of our current and past clients include organizations supported by the United Nations, the Gates Foundation, and the US, Dutch, and British Governments. We've partnered with organizations all over the world, from Morocco to Ghana to Uzbekistan to Indonesia.

As we move into the end of 2022, we need help spreading the message of our own and our client's messages.

An intern at Discovered Markets will have the opportunity to learn and practice:

• Digital marketing tactics (inbound marketing, lead generation, content marketing, SEO, marketing analytics, and marketing automation)
• Sourcing and developing press contacts
• Communicating development issues in emerging markets
• Support the rollout of a course on influencing systems change
• Building out a database of connectors in frontier markets

We are looking for someone who:

• Can make a three-month commitment at a minimum of ten hours per week
• Has demonstrated experience in digital marketing
• Has personal or professional interest or experience in Africa, Asia, or the Middle East.
